The behind the scenes is where the nitty-gritty happens. The stuff no one sees is what really matters and the reason these men and women who are coaches do what they do.

My name is Laura Pruitt and I am the stay-at-home-mom and wife of a football coach of 14 years. My husband is a head coach at a tiny little 2A school called Pisgah High School in Pisgah, AL. I grew up a girly girl and knew nothing of football. When I met my husband he was a football coach, along with his dad and his big brother. The last 11 years of marriage have been a rollercoaster being married to a coach but I wouldn’t have it any other way. My husband Luke and I have 4 children. John Cooper, Hudson, Spencer and Charlsie. The coach wife life isn’t for everybody, but I know I was born to be a coach’s wife and I embrace that challenge every single day!

Some people will talk about you behind your back because they’re jealous of you. But some people will love you because of who you are. They will love you because your daddy took the time to help their son or brother when there was no one else that wanted to deal with him.
He was given to us to raise.
And the man that’s raising him is having a small hand in raising a lot of other young men, too.
