I’ve been a coach’s wife for 26 years. I also teach. We have 2 children-Brett, who just graduated and will be attending Hardin Simmons, and Callie, who will be a junior. We have been at 8 schools with 8 different mascots and school colors.What is your favorite part of this lifestyle?
- All the friends from all over.
What is your LEAST favorite part of this lifestyle?
- The moves, especially when you have been somewhere long enough to get some true friends there.
What is one item you can't live without that makes this life easier?
- Noisemakers for ballgames.

- Covid in a new town…
What is one thing you would go back and tell your younger self?
Make friends everywhere you go and treasure those friendships. Hold on because it’s a long ride, but fun. Enjoy the winning seasons, but treasure the lessons learned during the losing seasons. Those losing seasons actually probably provide more family time.
