I am a midlife coach's wife navigating through a lot of time spent alone now that our children are grown and he is coaching. I decided to build my dream life and businesses while he pursues his passion. I help others learn to count chemicals, not calories, break up with dieting for good, get effective workouts in 3-30 min sessions a week, activate their own stem cells for true health, and build a substantial income from anywhere they want to for true wealth and freedom. I lead a local coaches' wives group called Sideline Sweethearts and truly love the relationships and friendships being made here. My coach and I have created a couples workout because of you want to “sweat together” you need to sweat together. Also, I have a new podcast called “Beyond the 50 yard line” to bring light and laughter to some of the stresses of our coaching life and hopefully help younger coaches and wives not have to face and endure some of the challenges we did. The focus is on faith, family, fitness and football. I love this crazy life as a football wife and endure the tough times to really enjoy the good times.
What is your favorite part of this lifestyle?
-
I love the travel! I love to get to meet new coaching wives and families and hear their stories. I love the team and the players and relationships we get to make!
What is your LEAST favorite part of this lifestyle?
- Never knowing for sure if you are permanent in a position or city. Also being talked about when things aren’t going they way the fans want it to.
- My Bible and my journal. When things are tough and you don’t know who you can trust to talk to, I find peace and comfort in these two.
What is your go to concession stand order or must have snack?
- I make my own stadium snackle boxes but l definitely love a good stadium grilled burger and nachos!!
- Getting married on the 50 yard line with the team and band on the field and then a couple seasons later getting fired after 3 losses that season on the same field.
What is one thing you would go back and tell your younger self?
-
Do not try to fight all the battles. What they say about you is none of your business! Hold your head up high and keep smiling. Always make them wonder why you are so happy. Stop trying to be a people pleaser and step into who you were made to be. Embrace being YOU and build the life you desire to live. Change what you can and let the rest go!
